Whether you play football or dance for a company you are an athlete exerting most of your energy in physical activity that requires perfect performance from your body. When your pushing your body to the limit you need to keep great maintenance for your body. Like a car a person needs fuel, but an athlete needs race fuel! The video posted will give you an idea of what a football player eats. And that's how they all eat..Below ill give you a list of food that athletes use for energy. Because athletes usually expend more energy than they eat they no longer have the daily diets like everyone else. Carbohydrates are the main nutrient for Athletes(remembering that Carbohydrates is the only nutrient that feeds the brain). Just eating the right kind of food doesn't stop here for an athlete. When you eat food is also a major factor for athletes. The night before a practice or game. Dinner and breakfast are most important for an athlete. Because lunch time is usually the hours of when the most physical activity occurs you don't want to stuff your face with food.
Lunch for athletes is a snack. Like a small Sandwich and a powerbar with something to drink. For the most part eating is more of a job instead of a response to hunger. Athletes develop a subconscious feel for more energy to keep a consistent flow of energy.
